SafeSport Training Deadline Extended

Print Many coaches are still in need of completing the online SafeSport training in order to keep their license from being suspended. The extended deadline is August 31, 2014. If you do not complete your SafeSport training by the end of day on August 31, 2014, your coaching license will be suspended. Please keep in mind, all coaches will receive three (3) CEUs for the completion of the SafeSport training. We highly encourage coaches to complete the training as early as possible to avoid any technical issues at the eleventh hour. Please follow the instruction below to register for and take the required training:
1. Go to http://training.teamusa.org/
2. Click on 'Store'
3. Click on 'SafeSport'
4. Click 'Add to Bag'
5. Click 'Check-out'
6. Click 'Register'
7. Fill in the required fields that follow and click 'Save'. (Be sure to enter your USA Cycling ID number correctly, we’ve seen several typos which cause delays in crediting your account.)
8. You may also add additional NGBs you want your completion notice sent to
Once you have an account, you may begin taking the training by clicking on 'Courses' from the main navigation or 'Click here to view your courses' from your Welcome message. If you do not have time to complete the course during your visit, your completed training sessions will be saved and you may sign back in at any time to resume your training, provided you complete by the August 31 deadline. Once you have completed the training, USA Cycling will receive notification from the USOC and your account will be updated accordingly.
