Favorite Race: "During my career I've competed in a number of different races every year. I haven't repeated very often."

Favorite Place to Train: "My family's lodge in the mountains of Pennsylvania in the summer."

Motivation: "It is all personal. My motivation comes from my love for cycling and the sport of bike racing."

Best advice you received from a coach when you were starting out: "Don't upgrade or move up too quickly. Learn how to win first."

What is your best cycling memory: "Receiving my first contract from a professional team."

How did you first become involved in cycling: "I first became involved in cycling when my dad got started around 2001-2002. We rode together on the weekend recreationally and eventually started riding to school 15 miles round trip. I did my first century ride when I was 12, my frist season of racing when I was 16."

Cycling goals: "My goals are more general than winning specific races or landing on certain teams. I want to be able to make a living doing what I love, whether that is racing domestically or internationally. I love racing big events."
