PRT: Season closes at Mayor’s Cup Boston

Print (Sept. 20, 2016) – The 2016 Pro Road Tour (PRT) closed out in Boston, Mass., at the Sept. 17 Mayor’s Cup Boston, as riders made a final push for final 2016 standings positioning.
2016 individual men’s and women’s champions Tyler Magner (Griffin, Ga./UnitedHealthcare) and Samantha Schneider (West Allis, Wis./ISCorpCycling p/b SmartChoice MRI) added to their leads despite clinching the titles in the last two weekends. Magner closed the year with 351 points, while Schneider finished with 618.
UnitedHealthcare finished the year atop the men’s team standings with 1,036 points, while ISCorp Cycling p/b SmartChoice MRI tallied 1,201 points to win the women’s team standings race.
