FAQs on USA Cycling's online registration system

Qualification Requirements

There are seven possible ways for riders to qualify and compete in the cross-country competitions. These are outlined in the qualification standards and procedures document.

The super D and short-track XC races do not require qualification.

You MUST check the qualified riders list before you register for a race. Riders registering for a race they have not qualified for will forfeit their registration fee and be removed from the registered riders list. All riders will be verified for qualification.

Pro riders are automatically qualified in their Pro discipline. Pro riders cannot race down into their age groups.

Travel and Accommodations

As you're making plans for Sun Valley, keep in mind that USA Cycling members are eligible for travel-related discounts on airfare, lodging and bike shipping from partners such as United Airlines, Hilton Worldwide and Hertz rental cars, among others. Visit your My USA Cycling page to learn more about these savings opportunities.
