Stephens used three stage wins to propel her to the overall victory and the top spot in the women’s individual NRC standings, rising up from fifth place before the Joe Martin Stage Race began. Her teammate Patricia Schwager (Switzerland) won the other stage to help move Team TIBCO/To the Top from fourth to first in the women’s team standings.

Fifth-ranked Jessica Cutler (Seattle, Wash./ FCS│Zngine p/b Mr. Restore), who placed fourth overall in Arkansas, is the only new rider to break into the women’s individual top five. Meanwhile, Colavita-Fine Cooking jumps into fourth in the women’s team standings, just 36 points behind second-place Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies and 30 points behind UnitedHealthcare.

Men’s Standings

After winning the opening stage time trial, Ian Crane (Seattle, Wash./Jamis-Hagens Berman) held on to win the men’s overall classification at the Joe Martin Stage Race. The victory jumped him up to second in the men’s individual NRC standings behind stage 3 winner Travis McCabe (Tucson, Ariz./SmartStop Pro Cycling). Juan Jose Haedo (ARG/Jamis-Hagens Berman) won Friday’s stage 2 and Brad Huff (Springfield, Mo./ Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies) won stage 4 on Sunday.
