Junior Track Nationals: Eligibility

Rules:

5B1. Championships are open only to riders who hold USA Cycling rider annual licenses and meet other qualifications stated in these rules.

5B1. (c) Regardless of any general rule pertaining to National Championship eligibility, any National Championship that is a direct qualifier for the World Championships or Olympic Games may only be entered by riders who are eligible under international regulations to enter those events as part of the U.S. team.

5D1. Junior championships are open only to riders with racing ages in the specified ranges and who are USA citizens or permanent residents as shown on their licenses. Only USA Citizens may compete in National Road and Track Championships that are exclusively for the ages of 17 and 18.

5B5. At track championships, all participants and rider support staff allowed on the infield of a velodrome must have a valid license issued by USA Cycling or from any other national Federation affiliated with the UCI. Such access may be further restricted as published in advance and approved by the Executive Director of USA Cycling. Exception: at junior championships only one parent or legal guardian per rider may be present without such a license during competition periods.
