Master's Track Nationals: Eligibility

RULES:

5G1. Masters championships are open only to riders with racing ages in the specified ranges who are USA citizens or permanent residents as shown on their licenses. Riders who have been given Elite status as specified in rule 1H4 may not enter Masters Championships. The "+" notation means that riders are qualified if their racing age is the one given or older. USA Cycling reserves the right to combine categories in Road Races, Criteriums, and Points Races if the field size is less than 6 riders in any one category. Medals will awarded to the finishers of all categories (up to five places) in their respective finishing order.

1H4. Riders with a racing age of over 30 who are Elite riders may not compete in masters races, unless specifically permitted in the official race announcement. Masters riders who have competed in any of the following UCI Elite events; World Cups, World Championships, Pan American Games, or Olympic Games, will be considered Elite riders for the duration of the cycling season of their appearance in one of the aforementioned events. Riders with foreign elite licenses may not compete in masters races.

Other Notes to Be Aware Of:

Riders may not race down into another category under any circumstances.
Riders who wish to enter a team in one of the team events must pay the team's entry fee prior to the close of registration on Tuesday. The exact composition of each team must be declared by noon on the day prior to the event.
