Members can now claim results with unreported license numbers!

USA Cycling has incorporated a new claim results function which allows members to claim results that are posted to USA Cycling's website but lack the proper license number. This option allows members to take matters into their own hands and secure the proper results and ranking they deserve.

To claim their unassigned result all USA Cycling members must do is:

  • Be signed in to their "My USA Cycling" account
  • Make certain the name spelling in the results exactly matches the signed-in rider’s "My USA Cycling" account
Once a rider is signed in and the spelling of their name matches that with the missing license info exactly, a green CLAIM button will show in the License column.
Once a rider is signed in and the spelling of their name matches that with the missing license info exactly, a green CLAIM button will show in the License column.

Once both of those conditions are met, a bright-green "Claim" button will appear in the license column of the results as below for Kory Dillman. As soon as the rider clicks "Claim”, the result will populate with his/her license number and will also immediately populate into his/her respective "Results & Rankings" tab in the "My USA Cycling" account. Once a result is claimed, the rankings system will update your place in the standings within the next 24 hours.

Keep in mind if a name is spelled with a nickname in the results that does not match the rider’s license (Tom for Thomas, Bob for Robert, etc.) the system won't recognize that rider, and he/she won't be able to claim the result. Also, if there is an issue claiming rightful results there is a link at the bottom of all results pages that says "Report missing or incorrect license numbers." This button offers an alternative way to claim unreported results by directing an email to the rankings inbox with vital information needed to make the results update.
