Cyclo-Cross Nationals Tech/Expo & Team Parking Information

The Tech/Expo at the 2013 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, will highlight the biggest names and coolest products in the cycling industry. Spectators will have the opportunity to test ride new bikes, see the newest gear and check out all the goods and products from the event sponsors and vendors from across the country. Admission to the event expo is free to the public.

Reserve Your Space: Tech/Expo and Team Parking Lot

The Tech/Expo for the Cyclo-cross National Championships will take place from Wednesday January 9, 2013, through Sunday, January 13, 2013, and will be located in the Badger Prairie Park, 6720 Hwy 151, Verona, WI 53593.

The hours of the Expo area will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The team parking lot will be adjacent to the course as well and will house all of the team trailers and areas.

Vendor & Team Parking Space in Tech/Expo

Pricing for vendor and team parking space in the Tech/Expo is indicated on the contract for the duration of the five-day event. Vendors and teams are required to bring their own tents, if desired. Space in the Tech/Expo must be reserved and paid for in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of payment in full will be required upon first entry into the Tech/Expo and team parking area. Vehicle passes for the Tech/Expo and team parking area will be provided as follows: at least one pass for each party; two passes if rented area is 300 square feet (including rig) or more; three passes if rented area is 600 sq. ft. or more, etc., up to a maximum of four vehicle passes for any one party.

Health Code Regulations for Food Vendors

Food vendors are required to comply with all applicable health code regulations. Click on the below links for more information:

Additional Information

Power
Power for the Cyclo-cross National Championships will be available for a $100 fee. Power will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An additional charge may apply if power is needed 24 hours per day.

Cleanup
If trash is left in your space, you will be charged 50 percent of your rental fee to pay for the cleanup of your space.

Insurance in Tech/Expo and Team Parking Lot
Please have your insurance company provide a certificate of liability insurance (minimum coverage $1 million) and list the following as additional named insureds:

• Madison Area Sports Commission
• USA Cycling
• Team Sports Events, LLC
• City of Verona, WI
• Dane County Parks
• MAYSA Affiliated
• MAYSA Affiliated’s Reddan Soccer Park

RV Parking
RV parking will be available across the street from Tech/Expo at the Reddan Soccer Park. The RV parking fee for the five-day event will be $100 and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of payment in full will be required upon first entry into the RV parking area. To reserve space in the RV parking area, please complete the contract form and submit as indicated. (A certificate of insurance is not required for the RV parking area.) No power is available in the RV parking area, although you may bring your own gas-powered electric generator.

Teams in the Woods
A special area for amateur teams will be available near the Tech/Expo area. The parking fee for the five-day event will be $200 and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of payment in full will be required upon first entry into the Teams in the Woods area and one (1) vehicle pass will be provided with each Teams in the Woods space. To reserve space in the Teams in the Woods area, please complete the contract form and submit as indicated. (A certificate of insurance is not required for the Teams in the Woods area.) No power is available in the Teams in the Woods area although you may bring your own gas-powered electric generator.

Cancellation Policy
There will be a 100 percent refund for any cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the first day of the event. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will receive a 50 percent refund and no refunds after the event starts.

Tech/Expo Frequently Asked Questions

Overnight security?
Yes, there will be overnight security in the Tech/Expo, but you are responsible for your property so exercise caution to protect your valuables.

What appliances can I bring?
If you arrange for electrical power at your site, you may have an electric heater or other electric appliances within reason. You need to specify the type of appliance(s) and amps on your application and contract form.

Can I bring a generator?
Yes, you can bring your own gas-powered electric generator if you wish.
