Event Rankings — The calendar contains a column showing the event's ranking (or class). Each class has a different points table for calculating NRC placing points. Sample race rankings: 1.5 and 2.4. The first number, before the decimal point, in the ranking describes the type of race. "1" signifies a one-day race, "2" signifies a stage race or series. The second number, following the decimal point, specifies the class.
