TTs and B races mark opening of Cross National Championships

Bend, Ore. (Dec. 7, 2010) – The opening day of racing of USA Cycling’s Cyclo-cross National Championships kicked off with the masters 40+ and single speed time trials in the Northwest Crossing district of Bend, Oregon. Non-championship category races were also held on the main course in the Old Mill District.
 
Following today’s time trials, start lists and call up order for tomorrow’s national championship races can be found online here.
 
Four winners were crowned in Wednesday’s non-championship B races including Sarah Huang (Kenosha, Wisc./Planet Bike) in the women’s open category and Jordan Cullen (Hudson, Wisc./Clif Bar Devo Team), Craig Faulkner (Mendota Heights, Minn./Crossniacs) and Michael Robson (Boulder, Colo.) in the men’s divisions. Racing will continue tomorrow with the crowning of the first 11 national champions including 40+ women’s categories, 55+ men and singlespeed.
