Online registration closes December 1 for Cyclo-cross Nationals
The 2010 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships is just a few weeks away! Are you registered to ride for a Stars-and-Stripes jersey?
Now is the time to sign up and take advantage of discounted online registration fees. Online registration will close on Wednesday, December 1, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
From December 8 to 12, the 2010 Cyclo-cross Nationals will take over Bend, Oregon’s Old Mill District — featuring a new course, BikeYoga classes, a warm-up area with LeMond Revolution trainers, and the Cross Culture: Art+Bike Festival.
Rule update reminders
Singlespeed National Championship
At the recent Board of Trustees meeting, the addition of Singlespeed as a championship discipline was approved. The Singlespeed National Championship will be open to all rider ability categories (there will not be any category restrictions). Riders must have a freewheel, one cog, and drop bars. Mountain bikes and straight bars will not be allowed.
Tire width rule
The new 33mm tire width rule will only apply to Elite, U23 and Juniors 17-18 years old competitors.
Riders competing in the non-UCI categories of Masters, Singlespeed, and Collegiate will not have the new tire width rule enforced. However, they must have no larger than a 35mm tire and compete on a cyclo-cross bike.
There are no bike restrictions for Juniors 16 years old and younger.
Online Registration
In an effort to streamline your registration process, we’ve created the USA Cycling online registration system. To sign up for nationals, simply visit your My USA Cycling page or go to the event website.

- Juniors — $60
- Collegiate — $50

On-site registration fees per race

There is no separate entry fee for the time trial — all registrants in classes that have a time trial will be automatically given a start time. Save time and money by registering early! On-site registration and packet pick-up will open on Tuesday, December 7. On-site registration must be completed the day before your race. There is no day-of registration!
