Collegiate Track Nationals online registration closes Sept. 16

USA Cycling would like to remind participants of the 2010 USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships that online registration will close on Thursday, September 16, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Competition begins Thursday, September 23, and runs through Saturday, September 25, at the Major Taylor Velodrome in Indianapolis, Indiana. Marian University will be hosting the event.

In an effort to streamline your registration process, we've created the USA Cycling online registration system. Registration is now available through your My USA Cycling page or on the Collegiate Track Nationals website. For FAQs about USA Cycling's new online registration system, click here.

Registration Timeline

  • Registration is now open for $45 per event.

  • Thursday, September 16 — Online registration closes

  • Wednesday, Sept. 22–Friday, Sept. 24 — On-site registration will be available for $65 per event. All registration must be completed the day before each race. There is no day-of registration.

Eligibility

All riders must be full-time students and be included on their school's Collegiate Nationals Eligibility Form. Each person may register for up to three individual events, but as many team events as they'd like.

Competitors at the Collegiate Track Nationals must have ridden in at least one USA Cycling track race to be eligible, and must bring this eligibility form to check-in at the event.

To compete in the Points Race, riders must be either a USAC Track category 3 or a USAC Collegiate Track category A.

Travel and Accommodations

The Jameson Inn Indy West is offering discounted room rates for $50 a night. To reserve a room, call the hotel and ask for the "cyclist track nats" price.

As you're making plans, keep in mind that USA Cycling members are eligible for travel-related discounts on airfare, lodging and bike shipping from partners such as United Airlines and Hertz rental cars, among others. Check out your My USA Cycling page to learn more about these savings opportunities.
