Over 60 national titles up for grabs in Louisville next week

Colorado Springs, Colo. (July 28, 2010) -- Over 800 riders are already registered for the 2010 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships which are set to get underway next week in Louisville, Ky.  Cyclists, age 30 and above, will duke it out for the more than 60 national titles on the line in the road race, criterium, and time trial events.  

It will be the third year in a row that masters compete for titles on the roads of the Bluegrass state. The week-long competition kicks off on Tuesday, August 3, with the individual and tandem time trials across all age categories on a rolling, out-and-back course in Taylorsville. The time tests will be followed by three days of road racing in Louisville’s Cherokee Park, August 4-6, before moving across the Ohio River to downtown Jeffersonville, Ind. for two days of criteriums, August 7-8, on a brand new four-corner course.

On-site registration will be available at the Fairfield Inn in downtown Louisville beginning on Monday, Aug. 2. On-site registration must be completed the day before your respective event, as there is no day-of registration for any event. On-site registration fees are $120 per individual event.

Packet pick-up will also take place at the Fairfield Inn. Please be aware that there is a $20 charge for packet pick-up at the start/finish line on the day of your event.
