Registration open for Junior/U23/Elite Road National Championships

Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 4, 2010) -- Registration is open for the 2010 USA Cycling Junior, U23, Elite Road National Championships which are slated for June 22-27 in Bend, Ore.

Initial on-line registration costs are $60 per event for elite and U23 racers, and $40 per event for juniors. Early registration, which opened on April 20, will wrap up at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 1 and members who register online after this date will incur a late registration fee ($25.00 for U23/elite and $10 for juniors) PER RACE in addition to the original registration cost. On-line registration will close completely at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 15.

Also, in an attempt to allow as many competitors as possible to register for the event, USA Cycling will allow late, on-site registration. Participants may register for the 2010 USA Cycling Junior, U23, Elite Road National Championships up until one day prior to their respective race. All on-site registration must be completed by the close of registration the day BEFORE your race. Please note: All on-site registrants will incur a 100% increase in the original registration fee.

Packet pick-up and o
n-site registration will be held in the Old Mill Shopping District suite #429 at 420 SW Powerhouse Drive (above Helly Hanson) on Mon. June 21 from noon to 8:00 p.m. and June 22 – 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

For those unable to make the evening packet pick-up at the Old Mill Shopping District, packet pick-up will also be available at the start line of each event for an additional fee of $20.
