Sinead Miller reports in from the 2010 Giro Donne
Hi all,
I am currently in Italy racing the Giro d'Italia with the USA Cycling Women's National Development Program, and it has been one unbelievable experience!
We just completed stage six of the race today, and now we are beginning to start racing in some real mountains. The race is 10 stages long and ends July 11th. It is by far the longest and hardest race I've ever competed in.
I have had so much help and support from my teammates though. We have all worked together as a unit every day, and now we are in contention to win the overall GC. It has been a real team effort here. I am so thankful to be a part of this team and learn from the experienced women I am racing with.
Every day we are racing better. The whole team truly believes that we will accomplish great things here at the Giro. Stage seven begins tomorrow, so stayed tuned in for results!!!
