Hobbies: Skiing (nordic and alpine) and dirt bikes in the offseason. During the season, dirt jumping and searching out the best coffee shops all over the world, and sometimes cooking.
Favorite Race: "The Downieville Classic is probably the most fun I have ever had on the mountain bike...too bad I've only done it once."

Best Cycling Memory: "Hucking my pink and white 12-inch-wheeled bike off some good-sized homemade wooden ramps at 7 years old. it was terrifying but awesome."
Best Advice Received from a Coach When You Were Starting Out: Rest is the most important training.
Motivation: "Going faster and faster, and just doing the best I can."
Hero/Role Model: "Todd Wells. I grew up watching him dominate races when I was really young. Now, years later, he is still beating up on everyone, including myself!"

Cycling & Personal/Career Goals: "Land myself on a U23 World Cup and World Championship podium, compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio, and eventually be competing for the top 10 in elite World Cups.

First Involvement in Cycling: "My dad used to drag me along on what I used to consider mountain biking death marches. Even though every time I would go I would love it."

Community and Charity Involvement: Helped with NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) camps and programs, and his local Summit bike club skills camps.

Family: Son of Jordon and Tanya Swenson...has a sister, Gretchen.
