Personal

Josh Meyers won his first Florida state championship at age seven and from there, he started to develop a thirst for victory. His defining moment came later, at age 19, when he won his first main event in Louisville, Ky. in 2007. It was then and there that he decided that he would race BMX until - in his words - he couldn't do it anymore.

Josh cemented his dream of becoming a pro by winning more races and by climbing the ranks until he arrived at a level only reserved for elite racers. He's forged a reputation for himself that crosses national borders and, with the 2012 Olympics looming, not only does he have to maintain his status in the international ranks, he has to make sure that he stays just a little fitter and faster than the next guy.

A native of Florida, Josh enjoys fishing and tries to get out on the water as much as possible when he's not training or racing.
