USA Cycling is holding its second BMX Junior Development Program (JDP) Camp of the 2012 UCI BMX season, October 3-9, on the Supercross track at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

Forty-five young athletes (with racing ages of 15 or 16) qualified for an invitation to the camp based on their performances in six ABA races between August 5 and September 18. The purpose of USA Cycling’s JDP camps is to familiarize the next generation of BMX stars with the bigger, faster, and more demanding Supercross style of racing.
