Brian Fell, who coached the riders at the camp, said, "It was good having the camp the week after the Chula Vista Supercross. That way, the riders in the junior development series could see their potential future in front of them."
Fell highlighted the commitment and effort displayed by Gaian, Hudson and Ferree as well as Ford, who was participating in her first camp.
Chula Vista features a track mimicking the BMX track used in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. The riders worked on sprint speeds, on flat ground as well as the eight-meter (26') tall World Cup starting hill. Their skills were also tested jumping 40' obstacles, negotiating turns and overall lap times.
