U.S. ready for round two of Track World Cup

American riders continued a busy track season last week. Six riders made their way to the Home Depot Center Velodrome in Carson, Calif. to prepare for round two of the UCI Track World Cup, and Guy East (Indianapolis, Ind.) rode in Great Britain's Revolution on November 14, finishing sixth overall with his Vitesse squad.

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROGRAM

National Development Team graduate Guy East competed in the UK Revolution in Manchester on November 14. He rode as a member of Team Vitesse, which placed sixth overall. Click here for more about the event.

USA Cycling held a camp at the Home Depot Center Velodrome in Carson, Cali., Nov. 10-15 in preparation for the UCI Track World Cup which is slated for Nov. 20-22 in Melbourne, Australia. The following riders participated:

Cody O'Reilly (Santa Barbara, Calif.) - points race, Madison
Austin Carroll (Orange, Calif.) - scratch race, Madison
Giddeon Massie (Zion Hill, Pa.) - sprint, kilo, keirin
Kimberly Geist (Emmaus, Pa.) - individual pursuit, team pursuit
Lauren Tamayo (Asheville, N.C.) - points race, scratch race, team pursuit
Shelley Olds (Scotts Valley, Calif.) - points race, scratch race, team pursuit
