DEVELOPMENT WRAP-UP: Tyler Farrar wins two stages and the overall at Franco-Belge
USA Cycling National Development Team graduate Tyler Farrar (Wenatchee, Wash./Garmin-Slipstream) scored a big win in Belgium over the weekend while current USA Cycling National Development program riders Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo./Trek-Livestrong) and Shelley Olds (Los Gatos, Calif./Proman) earned national titles on the track at the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships in Carson, Calif.
NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRADUATES
USA Cycling National Development Team graduate Tyler Farrar (Wenatchee, Wash./Garmin-Slipstream) claimed two stage wins and the overall win on Sunday at the 69th Circuit Franco-Belge in Belgium.
The 25-year-old American rode into the leaders jersey right away by winning the stage one bunch sprint. He then repeated that victory in stage two to further his lead in the general classification. Despite a crash in stage three and a puncture in the fourth and final stage, Farrar was able to maintain his lead and complete the four-day UCI 2.1 event with eight seconds over nearest threat Tom Boonen (Belgium/Quick Step)

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROGRAM
Riding for his Trek-Livestrong squad at the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships, USA Cycling National Development Team rider Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo.) scored Stars-and-Stripes jerseys in the points race, pursuit, and team pursuit over the weekend.
WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROGRAM
USA Cycling Women's Development Team rider Shelly Olds (Los Gatos, Calif./Proman) won a national title in the scratch race at the USA Cy cling Elite Track National Championships on Thursday.
DEVELOPMENT CAMPS
 Forty-four athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 have been invited to the USA Cycling Junior National Talent ID Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, October 8-12. They will participate in a variety of activities designed to assess and track their fitness levels and educate them on the key elements of becoming successful cyclists.
