Hobbies: Racing bicycles, riding dirt jumps, riding downhill, going to movies, go-karting and doing curls
Favorite Race: Louisville (Ky.) is easily my favorite race of the year. It's an amazing track (the best in the country) and the environment there is always good.
Favorite Place to Train: My favorite place to train is around Longmont, Colo. It's nice to be able to be at home and ride to my sprint spot for a warm up.
Best Cycling Memory: My best cycling memory is coming across the line at the 2013 UCI BMX World Championships. I was panicking a little around the track and then got lucky and was able to go from third to first in one turn and came across the line with a big win.
Best Advice Received From a Coach When Starting Out: Have fun with the sport. If you can't keep the sport fun, you shouldn't be doing it.
Motivation: The motivation I carry while racing or training is the goal of trying to make the 2016 Olympic Team. Another big motive is thinking about how bad it sucks to get second place at a race.
Hero/Role Model: Jared Garcia.
Cycling & Personal/Career Goals: My cycling goals include making the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Teams, winning duel UCI Junior World Championship titles and eventually an elite World Championship title. After my BMX career, I would like to transfer to full-time downhill mountain bike racing.
First Involvement in Cycling: I always loved riding my bike when I was really young, then I saw a TV commercial for BMX racing and I went and begged my mom to take me to a track.
Charity Work: I love doing clinics around the local tracks and working with kids one-on-one. It's cool to see improvement in their riding abilities.
Quotable Collin Hudson: "I love having fun no matter what it is I'm doing. I enjoy every bit of racing, even if I win or am in mid-pack. I try to take everything as a learning experience and keep the mentality that I have nothing to lose, but everything to gain."
Family: Son of Bill and Julie Hudson. Has two brothers (Levi and Matthew) and one sister (Elizabeth). Matthew competes in road cycling and Bill and Elizabeth also race around the country.
