March 1, 2012 — Registration opens to all automatic main event qualifiers from the 2011 World Challenge, Copenhagen, Denmark

April 2, 2012 — Registration opens to all qualified riders from the 2012 USA Cycling National Championship race (total 16 riders per UCI class)

April 6, 2012 — Deadline to submit Discretionary Athlete Nomination form — 5:00 p.m. mountain daylight time

April 9, 2012 — Discretionary Nominations will be selected and riders will be contacted to register

April 15, 2012 — Registration closes for all qualified and nominated Challenge (amateurs) class riders

April 20, 2012 — Team USA Challenge roster announced

April 20, 2012 — Registration closes for all qualified Championship (elites) class riders

April 23, 2012 — Team USA Championship roster announced
