Rock Hill, SC (July 28, 2017) – The amateur portion of the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships concluded on Friday in Rock Hill, SC with American riders earning 52 medals so far. In addition to the nineteen earned in the cruiser class competitions on Tuesday, Americans collected another 33 medals in the 20” challenge categories on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
 
Seven hundred and twelve Americans lined up for the 20” challenge races over the three days and stood on the podium with 13 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals. See below for a complete list of Team USA 20” Challenge Class medalists.
 
Elite and junior elite competition takes center stage in Rock Hill on Saturday when a roster of 20 riders will compete for Team USA in the junior men’s, junior women’s, elite men’s, and elite women’s world championship races. Click here to see the world championship entry list.
