2015 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships
January 7-11, 2015
Zilker Park, Austin, Texas

EVENT PARKING INFORMATION
 
Primary Parking Lot = Zilker Polo Grounds, Capacity = 800 vehicles
All vehicles will enter the Polo Grounds from Loop 1 (Mopac). APD and parking attendants will be present at the entrance of Zilker Park. Parking will be $10/vehicle. You can purchase a parking pass online, at packet pick-up, or onsite when you arrive.
 
5 Day Pass = $35
3 Day Pass = $20
1 Day Pass = $10
 
There will be a 10x10 tent with event staff & security who will collect cash and instruct all attendees where to park. All attendees will access the western most entrance to the lot from the parking area. Handicap parking will be available at front of lot on asphalt.
 
VW Parking = There will be a designated area for all VW vehicles towards the front of the lot (closest to the pit).

Bike Parking
The Spinlister Bike Valet will be located near the ‘Small Team Parking’ lot. You will be able to leave your bike in the secured area during event hours. There are bike lanes going both directions on Barton Springs Drive.
 
*WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND RIDING YOUR BIKE TO THE VENUE*
 
Staff/VIP Parking
All staff & VIP’s will be provided appropriate parking pass and will utilize the Pecan Grove parking lot off Barton Springs. Staff & security will monitor this entrance to ensure proper credentials are utilized.
 
Scenario #1 = Inclement Weather
In the event of heavy rain, parking will be diverted off-site to the Palmer/Long Center garage (900 Barton Springs Drive) and One Texas Center (505 Barton Springs Drive). If this situation occurs, we will send communiqué via email and social media channels.
 
Scenario #2 = Overflow *Sunday, January 11th*
In the event of parking overflow on Sunday, January 11th during the Elite races, all overflow parking will be directed to the Stratford parking lot on the north side of Zilker. The southbound side of Stratford Lane will be closed to allow for pedestrian traffic. Barton Springs will be patrolled by APD to allow for crossing.
 
Barton Hills/Zilker/Rollingwood Neighborhood
 
DO NOT PARK IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS SURROUNDING ZILKER PARK. YOU WILL BE TOWED.
 
EVENT EMERGENCY NUMBER
1.877.342.2076 – Phone line will be directed to staff onsite and will be accessible 24 hours/day.
 
FOOD/ALCOHOL
  • Food: There will be food trucks on-site to sell food to participants/spectators during most days. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance of Zilker Park along Barton Springs Drive.
  • Alcohol: Alcohol will be available for purchase inside the designated Beer Garden only on Friday-Sunday from 12PM-5PM. There will be Austin police personnel along with uniformed security manning each entrance.
  • THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED OUTSIDE THE BEER GARDEN. THIS IS AGAINST TEXAS STATE LAW. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH AN OPEN CONTAINER YOU WILL BE ISSUED A TICKET BY AUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT.
