2015 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships
May 8-10, 2015
Asheville, NC
Communiqué 3

Road Race Decisions:  The panel of commissaires is issuing the following clarification to the points penalty applied to the following:
8A5(i) Activity or actions not specifically covered but bringing discredit upon the sport (see 8B1(e) and 8B1(b)) DSQ + $50 + 35 Team points
272 BROOKSHIRE Grayson              258439          Milligan College
The clarification is that the penalty of 35 points assessed to the Team are to be allocated to the road race event, not to the team points omnium allocated for the race. This effectively leaves the team places for the omnium calculation unchanged, with the 35 points charged to the team's point calculation overall for the road race being added back in.

Criterium:
The following penalties were assessed:

8A5(b)  Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to … insults and rude behavior                                                                                                                       $50
369   Emma COLLINS                    395189                       University of New Hampshire

Time Trial:
  • This is an out-and-back course. The centerline may not be crossed at any time. This will be strictly enforced.
  • The Team Time Trial will be scored on the third wheel of every team for all divisions.

Time Trial Clothing: Reminder: Per USAC 6E2, 8H2(a) and 8H2(b), riders must wear team clothing during the time trial (team jersey or neutral jersey, and team shorts or shorts with no advertising).

Time Trial Equipment: All equipment must meet UCI and USAC regulations for mass-start events. Saddles must be behind the vertical through the center of the bottom bracket, and are to be “level” with a 3-degree tolerance. Aero bars and equipment are not permitted in the Time Trial. Weight limits are 6.8 kg. Wheels must comply with mass-start regulations.

The bike jig will be set up on site at the TT Start  one hour in advance of the first starter for pre-checks. Additionally, saddle positions can easily be determined by placing the bicycle against any vertical (90-degrees) pole or post, aligning the center of the bottom bracket with a leading edge of the pole or post, and ensuring the peak of the saddle is not forward of this position.

Courses: After the finish of your race do not congregate on the roadways or in the finish areas.
