2014 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships

Per a letter issued today, Monday January 6, 2014, from the Sport & Technical Department of the UCI:
In the past, the UCI has been flexible with a “stop and go” procedure in the pit area. Due to recent issues the UCI Cylo-cross Commission decided to cancel immediately the “stop and go” procedure since the UCI Cyclo-cross World cup (05.01.2014).
As such, only article 5.1.038 applies « A rider may only take the pit lane to change his bicycle or a wheel »
Any rider entering the pit area must change bike. In case of a stop and go, the rider will be disqualified as per article 12.1.040 – 47.
Note that this only applies to the UCI/Elite Categories: Junior Men 17-18, U23 Men, U23 Women, Elite Men and Elite Women.
