2011 Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals to move to new host venue
USA Cycling announced today that a new venue will be selected for its 2011 Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships which are slated for October 28-30.
The original host for the event, the Timberline Resort in Davis, W. Va., was unfortunately forced to step down due to some unanticipated, off-season changes to the would-be venue.
USA Cycling is confident it will soon secure a new, top-notch venue capable of hosting cross country, short track cross country, downhill, and either four-cross or dual slalom events.
Race organizers interested in promoting the event over the weekend of October 28-30 can click here to see the Request for Proposal or contact USA Cycling National Events Director, Kelli Lusk, at klusk@usacycling.org or (719) 434-4285.
Stay tuned for the new venue announcement coming soon…
